Searching for appropriate resources is an interesting task. To truly do a great job, one really does need to read a lot of these reviews and book lists. I did not realize how many review sources existed. It does provide structure and assistance rather than just blindly leaving the teacher-librarian to flip through a catalogue. The clients themselves are also a great resource for what to purchase, but students and teachers are limited to resources they've heard are good, or perhaps have read a review about. At any rate, through this exercise, I have discovered that research is a requirement for appropriate aquisition practices.
